Rode one of these as a kid......could never get fast enough to need front brakes.....we'd just jump off and hold the bike back

Scam, has something seriously wrong with it, or it's stolen.

I'd expect a "I'm not in the country right now, but if you send me a $xxx deposit, I'll have my agent meet you at the bike with the keys and you can check it out."

If I had a big property like yours Dave I'd consider it. Living in the city I'm struggling to keep 9 bikes out of the rain as it is.
I lugged my 2 recently acquired motors home on the weekend, XJ9 and XJ-T, left them in the van for now until I find a place for them.
One of the 9 is just an XJ650RJ parts bike I need to tear down to bits which will gain me some room. I have a mezzanine above my garage I need to start stashing shit. My Turbo project is taking up too much space!

Yup, the king/queen seat was an option, and the 'sissy bar' isn't a sissy bar...it's a support for the tall back of the seat.

poor bike has had its beautiful atari and headlight removed he should be reported to the police.

It would be a shame if a bunch of people started sending him offers for the bike

"with my limited knowledge of wiring." I wonder how he did the atari bypass?????????????

I don't consider Atari "beautiful" and it isn't a crime to remove it in my jurisdiction, but the tiny speedo and tach they replaced Atari with just looks ridiculous!

I did too untill I sat on a 82 750 maxim with the buck horn handle bars beutiful lines.

one of the things I like about the Yamahas is the way ALL the lines line up hard to find one line that is not in line with another even the exhaust tips

I'm 60 miles from the Sioux Falls bike. However, I don't need another motorcycle...

Personally, I like messing with a chain . With emphasis on "mess" - cleaned and adjusted mine last night. Sometimes shaft drive does sound appealing - an my rear tire would stay cleaner...

tire and center stand would be cleaner, the price of a u joint for a shaft drive 478$ and is obsolete part
but I have 2 shaft drives now need to stock up on an extra drive shaft or 2

....yet I have never had to replace any

----- and there's loads of them here on the site, and many of us have plenty of parts bikes anyway.....nobody would pay that kind of money. Heck I'd sell some for half that!!lol

Holy mother of a train wreck Batman!
When did they legalize weed in Tennessee, cause that seller is as high as a kite.
    $3,500???!!!!

Besides the front tire, the right hand side spark plug is completely painted!!! Holding the headlight in position really adds value....
