I see a lot of the xj parts bin there... The chrome covers on the intake look like the x, the rims look familiar, is it from the turbo? I just wish Yamaha hadn't put a rectangle headlight on there. I also find the angle of the bottom of the tank looks weird. And the chain. I'm tired of the maintenance.

Those are all correct for a radian. It's missing a side cover, rear fender, mufflers, chain guard, etc.....

"I believe it's the starter solenoid which I priced at $10.50."........well then you should have bought it
"Runs great when it starts"........but it don't start
"Haven't taken new pics since it's been out of the shop. Will send some if wanted"........never mind, i trust ya

I know they're correct, I was just pointing out the similarities. Should be an xj600, not yx600.

A bit too far even for you. It was only 2 hours away from me, but just after I messaged the owner got a sad reply.

I wanted to cry spam, but timbox has been here awhile, not some bot. I hope it's a mistake.
On the subject of optimists, there's an ad on Kijiji, which for some reason I can't find on the webpage, where the guy is asking$1200 for a Honda CB200 tank. Calls it "old new stock". Only shows up on the app.

That explains all the Texas dirt, the severe-sun-faded gauges....... And the rust must be from riding during the rainy seasons. Maybe $500 in my neck of the woods if it has a good title.

For his kind of money, it should at least have both side covers......

    Sheesh......

Umm... the ad forgot one word--
    Above - average DIRTY condition.

    "Was running when parked......"

So it probably ran out of gas ...... then the battery died.......why didn't people shut them off when they parked them!?!?! lol.

Sorry guys, I thought that was a good post but is seems like it got changed. Sorry about that, if there is a Moderator that can kill that post that would be great. Again, sorry about that.

Here is a Xj1100 for $500 the old "I'm not really a bike guy" wink wink...could be a good parts bike.

That's an excellent price for the Midnight, providing it'll turn over and has compression. Even decent if it is just parts.

The 650 is a bit pricey for my tastes, I'd want it to be running and pass a safety inspection for that price.

Oh dear god. I’m not a huge fan of the 750 Seca but that is one of the most aweful things I’ve ever seen. To each his own but when you do that you better plan on riding it for life.

That has to be a "dip" coating don't you think. I mean no one would spend the time to paint it like that. I understand, to each their own...but wow.

Why would you even try something like that if you didn't have the tools to make sure it was done right? That is just a whole bunch of heartache and possible "family get together" you don't want. Scary!!
