This ole boy close to me has this bike for sale for a 100 bucks. Would you buy it? I'm sorely tempted since it's like one of my dream bikes. 1970 CB750! No title and the engine is seized. My mind says forget it, the little voice in my head is screaming YOU NEED IT!! BUY IT!!!!

decide by how much you are willing to put into it i see an easy 1000$ to get it up and running.
did he run it until it seized or is it seized from sitting? would be a nice parts or part out bike
no I would not buy it to fix it.

I'm having glorious visions of that bike restored!! I've had these before and unfortunately they usually don't turn out so glorious! Supposed to be seized from sitting and of course, "IT RAN WHEN PARKED!" LOL!!!

seized from sitting is a good thing soak the cylinders in atf and acetone mix for a few weeks add as needed , you will find some cylinders drain out and some do not

I wouldn't........that's so rough, i don't know as ai'd get my money back in even parts. Without a title, you're going to have to jump through $$$ hoops to get it titled AFTER you spend more$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ to get it restored. Save your money for a better platform to start from.

The last bike bought in a condition like that was $50.

Offer him $300 for the trailer and the bike. That way, at least you got a good deal on a trailer.

Haha. I’d buy it. That’s 100$ worth of fun just tearing it apart to me. And I also like tanks for garage art, whether useable or not.

A hundred bucks is a lot for a boat anchor, but at least you get a frame to keep it in until you sell it for scrap. Please don't think I'm being rude, I've had better condition bikes than that sit in my garage untouched for years! Lolz! Now I only look at bikes that start and have titles.

If you have lots of time and lots of $$ then go for it. It will take lots to get that bike up and safely running. I myself love all the older metric bikes but I would have to pass on her.
    1. Tires
    2.Tank condition?
    3. Seat
    4. Unknown engine?

Just too much stuff to worry about and work on unless you have the time and money. If you do, go for it and start a rebuild thred and keep us posted.
