    BTW, it's not an air needle. If it were, in would be richer.

    actually it's a vacuum adjustment, in=less vacuum=less fuel, out=more vacuum=more fuel.

    Now that's really confused things Polock. The screw on my mikunis (have to put that in asI've only stripped an Htachi), is a fuel screw, puts fuel in on idle (and pretty much all the time I would say). at higher load and speed this fuel is probably negligable, and at full load possibly the reduction in vacuum may reduce it further. But there again, these are CV carbs...
    But there again, being pedantic if you want, turning the screw out allows the vacuum in the inlet to draw the fuel out through the idle (sorry primary) jet.
