    MINT condition MUST SEE! (No BS) Original owner of 34 years. 78,400 KMs.
    RARE Canadian model. Yamaha only made 887 of these in 1984: 601 came to Canada and the rest went to Australia Bike runs and operates like brand new. All factory original except aftermarket WOLF full exhaust system. Pictures show aftermarket Progressive Rear Shocks. I have since replaced them with the Original Yamaha piggy back shocks. Very cheap on insurance. Factory Yamaha shop manual Valve shim adjustment tool and assortment of shims. Aftermarket soft saddlebags included.

    It's a great motorcycle, I've 4 now and need to trim back. It's VERY difficult to make this decision to try and sell it.

    I like my Xj750rl but don't have the belly fairing,it has engine guards that don't fit together.

    New price $1700 CDN
    I have the following items to go along with it.
    • Full factory Yamaha shop manual (not a Chilton or Haynes knock-off)
    • Valve shim adjustment tool and assortment of 2 dozen shims.
    • spare Yamaha valve cover gasket
    • spare Yamaha air filter
    • spare Yamaha clutch cover engine case gasket. I bought it years ago as a spare when I installed new fibre plates into the clutch.
    • set of 5 spare Yamaha clutch springs
    • 2 new Fram oil filters (Allied Signal made)
    If I can't sell it, I'll be parting it.

    Actually I won't sell it to a low ball, or part it. I'll just drain all fluids and put it in the corner to look at for the remainder of my days.

    We will see, but I may settle for $1500 if no one picks it up in the next week. But that will be without a mechanical fitness, I'll let the buyer pick up that tab for the price.
    I hate to part with it, but the riding season in Muskoka isn't longer than 7 months. Really not enough to own 4 rides with insurance. I've a Venture, Vmax and Street Bob all also crying for attention too. I was only able to ring up 1000 KMs on the XJ last year, and about 1300 the year before that. I feel it needs more exercise than I can give it. Hence, the reason only 78,400 kms in 34 years.
    BUT! I won't bastardize it for a lowball dump. I'll just let it sleep in peace to remind me of my days past when it was only it and me and no others.
    I had a terrible time deciding which of the 4 was to leave.

    But, as you and toomanybikes have stated, it's a minefield from Canada>US ! :(
