Safe to use teflon tape on starter motor lead?

    I read in motorcycle mechanics magazine (down at the dealers section) about a biker oiling his Suzuki GT 250 brake rotors because they were squeaking. I wonder if its true whether he lived to join any club. Japanese disc brakes were bad enough in the 70's without doing an idiot thing like that.
