    Oval pistons. 2 connecting rods per piston. I saw this at 92 Honda dealer show in Vancouver. Uber rare bike.

    I read somewhere they only made like 300 that year. Was $50k new:eek:

    I wonder how close that is to the R1 cross plane engine? I love how smooth the NR sounds!

    Strange that it has the exotic layout of the rods sharing the crank pin throws too.
    One cylinder on the power stroke as the other is on the compression? Or is it on the exhaust stroke?

    Have to see the camshafts to figure that out.
