Why not put new shift return and/or pawl spring on it and sell as a running bike ?

    Hi Dave,
If the bike had a title and was in better condition cosmetically, I probably would have tried fixing it. However, I’ve already stripped off all the good parts and gave away the “carcass”.

I wasn't sure whether you got my pm, but I'm interested in the handle bars. Please pm me on what it would cost to ship the bars
to Santa Fe, NM in addition to the $20 base price

No PM received, I’ll PM you with shipping details on these (aftermarket) handlebars, which are straight and good chrome. They were on this xj650 parts bike. See photo of aftermarket bars alongside xj750K bars.

Would the fairing fit a 1981 xj650 maxim?
    What about intake boots?

Yes, the X-1 will fit 1981 xj650 Maxim.
And do you want Airbox to carb boots, I do have those.
Please send PM to further discuss the X-1 and Airbox boots. And perhaps provide email where I can send you high resolution photos of those parts. Thanks!
