Rebuilding my carb

    The items above are mislabled. The float body is the float itself (black plastic floaty thing).
    What is pictured above is the float needle seat and float needle seat washer.
    Some of the Hitachi carbs use a brass washer, while others had a dense fiber crush washer instead. Both types interchange without issue.

    the thing in your photo that you are pointing to with screw driver does not come off . your silver needle is complete no parts need to be added

    over flow ports to carb bowl chambers no need to remove spray from bottom and front

    may be pressed in

    Those are air compensator jets to help regulate fuel flow into the float bowl. They do come out for cleaning, but generally don't need to be removed.
