Well, that was vexing. I got ready to post a little introduction to myself and the board said, "Your content can not be submitted. This is likely because your content is spam-like or contains inappropriate elements."

when your ready it is suggested you start a thread in technical section for your bike

it is important that you fully ID your bike in threads you post

so in the title fully id your bike

XJ750K or 83 XJ750 Maxim ect then you can state a title issue or mclarksons (your bike here) be as creative as you want.
keeping all your issues in one thread helps us help you.

if when reading a diy how to thread feel free to ask questions in that thread about how or what. Just remember to let us know in your main thread that you have or are going to fix somthing
none of these are rules but it helps us to help you if all info is in one thread

also you can put your bike type in your signiture

there is also a Test Zone where you can try posting photos links ect to hone your skills with colors bold underline basicly a place to mess with the buttons of the forums

I think there is also a limit on teh amount of text until the 5th post.
We had several spam posters who would send walls of text for some reason.

I currently ride a Kawazaki 454 bobber (That's it in my profile pic). The bike I just picked up is (allegedly) an XJ700 Maxim. I've posted another thread looking for help in positively identifying it. (The last CL bike I purchased was sold as a 250 but was actually a 185.)

 

I had planned to start a thread chronicling the project as I attempt to build a working bike out of this. Is that appropriate? If so, which forum should it go in?
