1985 XJ700N Airhead Hitachi Carb Vent Hose Routing

Of course my XJ700N was missing the four vent hoses that come off the engine side of the carb near where the enrichment circuit enters the air stream.

After cleaning out the enrichment circuit jets in the bowls, I figured a good next step would be to replace these vent hoses (still don't know if they really effect performance at all).

But I wasn't able to find any reference images for hose routing when installed.

The below image is what made sense to me as far as routing the hoses. If anybody has a better idea I would love to hear it. Or this may be one of those bits of knowledge lost to time in the engineering department at Yamaha.
