Yamaha xj 600 f from 1989

    Hello. I am doing a projekt with mounting a sidecar to a Yamaha xj 600 f. I come from Denmark, and there they are strickt about MIT. So, to get it through MIT i have to get some dokuments or some pictures or maby a dokument from Yamaha witch says how and where to Mount the sidecar to the bike chassi. Maby someone,inhere have a bike like mine with a sidecar, or maby know one who has. Maby i Can use dokuments from a Xj 900 from the same year. Hope to hear from you.

    Yamaha will never recommend mounting a sidecar to one of their motorcycles. I'd be astonished if there were any official Yamaha documents illustrating an installation.
    Harley-Davidson and Ural are the only OEM's offering complete rigs.
    Depending on the brand of sidecar you have, you could try showing your grubbermint the mounting instructions from them.
    I have a Velorex 562 mounted to a 650 Seca but I'm in Canada where a few freedoms still exist.
    Here it is treated as an accessory like a back rest or fog lights.
