I had three bikes - got rid of one on Friday. BUT, I may get two more next week :) This got me thinking - I bet others in this group have many more of these old bikes than I do.

I was going to ask, “how many XJ’s?” Or “how many old Yamahas”. But I think the most general is the best. So:

How many old Bikes Do you have?

    An XJ900F, 2x GS850, and an XS650.
That's enough for now, but I keep thinking of more.
    I really fancy a GSX1100G from the mid-90s.
    Or a 1200 Bandit.

I have 2 other modern bikes (Bonneville & Indian Scout).
I would prefer to have more :) . I could fit more in the garage spot but I swore I'd only revive 1 bike per year. Trouble is that once I revive it, I don't want to get rid of it.
Next winter I"m hoping to rebuild the carbs/brakes on a friend's bike that has not run for years.

You guys must be overcompensating for something by having all those bikes.

    I still have a pair ................. of older Yamaha's.
The Maxim X 750 and the Fazer (FZX) 700

Well, I suppose I'm guilty of overcompensating too, with the insanely powerful FZ10.

    Now there's an idea.
