Greetings, Kevin! Where are you in Ontario? If you're near Ottawa there's a local guy parting a Max400. If you need any bits and pieces or just want to pick up some spares, his ad's on kijiji.

KsR14 Half the carbs half the work sounds good to me. Good looking bike. I live near Tillsonburg but work in Woodstock and my work takes me to Tavistock a few times a month. Why does Tavi smell like dog food??

Bought her off a really nice couple in London. She's been owned in Hamilton, Dunnsville, London, and now Tavi :)

Hahahaha ya sometimes the dogfood smell is a touch unbearable :) And the crappy water just makes it worse :) But that's where the better half's mom lives, so we're helpin eachother out in this crappy economy.

I always wanted to know why the people that work at Tim Horton's in Tavi, don't know what stirred coffee means. ;)

I'm glad i'm in good company here.

Welcome Kev, hope you find the forum useful and entertaining.

And there is nothin' wrong with Tavistock! I spent many a day there golfing the 9-holer with some of the nicest farmers you'd ever meet. Some golfed in their coveralls and boots "between times" and they had an easier time with those tilted greens than I ever did. Got down to a 32, though.

    Enjoy your 400. ride safe.
