Pretty awesome. It handles REALLY REALLY well for something that looks that tall. It sounds like sex. It feels like sex. It really is sex... on two wheels.

It's just fun. Not practical. Outrageous fun though. Gobs of torque, and it even does twisties. Absolutely blows the vmax out of the water.

I had one out last summer - and I seriously considered it. Problem is you can't put luggage on it. The tank is a weird shape and the pipes under the seat would burn luggage.

OK I now get it A huge cruiser motor in a little sport bike frame. Didn't Yamaha already do that? They call it VMAX. Now if they could make it really handle and lighter then a 1600cc supermoto would be cool it might give the v-strom a run for is money. Just a bit whacky you know. But like a say the great thing about motorcycling is it is only limited by our imagination. Any body back in the day think that BMW would have a 1000 dirt bike?

Unlike the vmax power isn't binary (on/ofF)... it's always on, but just how much is controlled by the wrist.

As a result, going around a corner you can roll on nice and gently and it handles quite well. The vmax took A LOT of practice to get to corner. Roll off and she'd flop over, roll on and she'd stand up. You'd go around a corner doing your best to keep the power level or building, but it was never designed to be subtle. As a result you'd wobble around a corner at half the speed you've done it before.
