Any on from here from Charleston SC?

On another forum I visit often there have been a lot of problems with trolls, this week there was a post from a girl claiming to come from Charleston. She claims that she is coming to teach English in our village school but no one I know knows anything about her. She is asking people to try finding her accomodation with a Spanish family.

I dont want to go around asking Spanish friends and neighbours about lodgings for her if she doesn't exist. l

Something about Charleston that only a resident might know would help prove or disprove her story.

I thought about offering to put her up but herself would have a fit, I played the good Samaritan once before and the episode is still dragged up during almost every barney. Besides she wants a Spanish family so she can learn the language.

Maybe you could forward her the information to your local newspaper so she can run an ad stating what she's looking for.

 

I dont want to get involved until I know that it is a genuine request for help like I said there have been so many trolls causing trouble on that forum which is a great pity. It full of good information about all sorts of things relevent to to area unfortunatly a lot of good people have left the forum because of the trolls. Most of them have multiple identities and every new member come's under suspicion.
