but im wondering, how i could do this, would i need to get a whole new control setup? or could i work it into the existing controls? i really dig the look of the double lights on a bike.

Ya all you would have to do it make a bucket for the lights to mount in and just wire them too the stock wires

When you start making decisions on changing from Stock Headlamp to aftermarket lighting, you MUST consider the design of the Electrical System.

The Alternator can only do so much!
If you put a load on the electrical system that is outside the design parameters ... it is going to start costing you some Big Bucks!

    Alternator Rotors.

Alternator Rotors can't handle demands above Specs (16-to-18 Amps depending on Model) ... and will just self-destruct!

    Turtle,
Somewhere around here I got a set of those lights, had them on the fairing on my XS11. Wanted to illuminate the ditchs to discover the brown speed bumps before they got on the road. VERY dissapointing. Amp draw was not all that bad but as lights go you don't want them as headlights. If I have not already dumpstered them anyone that wants them can have them.

Looked at those. They are 2x the amp draw. 2 h4's will burn your electrical system out quick. Good luck, replacment regulators cost ~80-200 bucks 8O

wow guys...this is not hard to do at all...just get some driving lights from walmart, autozone, advance, etc. and fab a bracket. one for low beam and both for high beams. tons of streetfighters do it, I did it on a '95 GS500e and you may wanna look here for inspiration... www.customfighters.com

    Not DOT rated.

The first time you catch an anal inspector or DPS officer the bike is off the road.
