Just make sure you get ones that are dot rated, alot of the ebay ones are just novelty helmets. I havent looked recently but a few months back that was the case.

Sounds like you should invest in a sidearm or a doberman instead...... :D

I just got a dot approved german style from an ebay store and just sent them back, seller was great but.... There sooo big, like darth vader helmet big. I def think you might want to find somewhere to try the halfs on.

It would be a GREAT idea to go to a shop, and try one on. Note the brand and size, then go shopping on line for the best price. If you don't check how they look before you buy, you might look like your head needs circumcision. They all have a tendency to ride just a bit high on the head. Different maker vary on they way they "ride" on your mellon.

They've got DOT approved German-style helmets in a variety of models. Most ebay sellers that have the same ones buy from them wholesale. I'm probably going to pick one up as well once I do the bobber build.

I can't get full-face helmets to fit, so I wear halfs as well. I also wear aviator-frame glasses. What I did was took and old pair, picked up some goggles from wally world for $15, then stuck them right in there. So to ride, I just remove my glasses, and I've got some custom made prescription goggles right at hand, for a good deal cheaper than commercial equivalents.
