I ordered a new master cylinder from partsnmore.com almost a week ago, paid via paypal, and I haven't heard anything from them. Emails go unanswered. Is this normal? I'm probably being a little more impatient than normal, I've got a big bike maintenance weekend coming up and I'm worried I won't have all my parts. I'd just be happy if I could be assured they've received my order.

I have only ordered a gasket set for my 550 maxim from partsnmore.
the total was 69 shipped, and I had it in a very short time - like 1 week.

I was pleased for the fast ship.
I will say I do prefer that vendors and sellers give me a clue when they ship stuff.
(I get the tigerdirect.com item shipped email usually the day after I receive the item. go figure)

I started out by ordering parts from other on-line stores, I've since only ordered parts from Chacal. His prices are great, and I've recieved my parts in Oregon within 2 days. I usually order $100 or more in parts, that way the shipping is free, but if you toss in an extra $5 you can have the parts shipped via priority mail. The list of parts that he has posted on this forum are not the only parts he has. I've found that by sending him a PM with my needs for parts that I don't see on his list, he'll send a part number to add to your wish list. He answered all of my questions quickly and completely. If you read some of the reviews of the service that he has provided there is only positive responses. I would reccomend him VERY HIGHLY for your next parts needs!!!

Partsnmore usually sends an Email confirmation or order being recieved and paid. But Not of Shipping, in my experiences
Mikes XS is MUCH better.. better quality bits as well..assuming you know how to cross reference parts as Yama used Many of the same parts on several models of Bikes.

Remember they are in Canada, So the packages can get held up in customs. I usually get my packages in about a week but there have been instances that it takes 2 weeks to arrive. Try emailing them again. I have never had a problem with them and I purchase a lot of parts from them for cb750's and Goldwings. I also ordered my carb parts from them when I rebuilt them. They once forgot 2 carb kits and when I emailed them they sent it out no questions asked.

I guess I just didn't wait long enough. I got a reply today (~4hrs after I made this post). They gave me a Fedex tracking number and it should be here the day after tomorrow. I hear you on ordering from Chacal. I did have some email problems, but he responded very quick. I ordered almost $350 in parts from him over the weekend. His parts make up the bulk of my work this weekend. Thanks everyone!

Chacal is a great resource, i just wish the border wasn't so slow, and duty wasn't so much. Makes it not really worth it for small stuff :(

Sheesh, They're located 10 mins away from me. Too bad they don't have a public store front :/

Agreed. I also round up a few bucks for a cup of coffee so he has the caffeine to spew out all those answers he gives to my questions!
