Great looking bike ! The green and black go well together.
I use a free program called Irfanview to resize my pictures, give it a try.
I have Photoshop Elements but keep going back to Irfanview because it is so easy to use.

    Check it out here

Re: Couple pics of my bike

    Thanks everyone......

It's an 1982 seca 650......had close to 28k miles on it when i got it

We dont get enough rain here to actually collect any water. I live in south eastern georgia and we have been in a drought for the past few years.

The bike except the exhaust was painted when i bought it. I am going to repaint all the gloss black parts flat black and remove or paint everything silver/chrome except the carbs and maybe a couple other pieces.

After i chop up the front fender and do my custom seat i plan on repainting it either the same color or a very very close match if it cant be found.

i believe the color scheme will look great once it's been transformed into a cafe racer style bike

Thanks again for the compliments everyone

I gotta say, I love it as it is. Very nice, and not too dirty for riding on dirt.

Re: Couple pics of my bike ***Update 9/1/08***

Here are some updated pics of my bike, it really is dirty this time and no use washing it since the road it trashed from the last hurricane and another on the way

I layed it down a few days after the last pics worst damage was the headlight so it had to go a a replacement couldnt be located so i went double 4in.

handlebars were also trashed and went with clubmans at first.... i decided to go a different route with bike and got some motox bars

i liked the look without the front fender so i removed it.

blinkers are all small semi truck marker lights now.

i tucked the brake light in.

blacked out about everything on the bike

Next plans are to finally get to work on my 1up seat and install a vapor digital speedo/tach to drop that height all down

    very nice
did you ever consider stainless allen head bolts for the engine ?
or third eye bar end mirrors ?
i like the bars with the removable brace, what kind are they, my maxim needs a early christmas
seems kind of bright out for 20 till 3 in the morning ? :)

What type of paint did you use to paint the aluminium?
I like some of the black out stuff you did, especially the gloss black on the motor.

never thought of the mirror but im glad you did, ill be ordering some soon

as far as the stainless, im trying to shy away from anything shiny

the hound, the engine was black when i got the bike but im sure its just a generic high temp paint. i used the same on everything else except exhaust it got a very high temp paint

they look like those cheap "driving lights" that they sell everywhere but it wasnt said where theyre from im pretty sure, i like the looks of some of those cheap ones but im sceptical about how bright theyd actually be...
