I like the flames. Very nice look. How did you layout your flames? did you use a kit or go freehand?

thanks everyone i shaved the seat foam some got to get some risers made more than the 1" thats on there the bars hit,she needs brakes,a rear tire, and i the i might take the carbs and beat them with a sledge hammer but other than that its just been little stuff like turn relay cause they didn't flash got the info here...wiring is/was a mess taking that one day at a time.....waiting for the snow to hit so i have a reason to chuck the rear fender and seat for something that doesn't remind me of robo cops head

I particularly like the Handlebars and Instruments!
Where'd they come from and at what cost?

hehe dam, also wondering where the gauges came from :)

    Nice looking bike.

Don't beat the carbs with a sledge, :) , follow Rick's carb guides and get the tuned and happy.

Wiring is always fun..... keep at it.

We're letting the "Pictures included in Posts" get a little out-of-hand.
In the future, how about Posting your nicest photo and placing the rest of them in Your Photo Gallery.

I know your house is probably hooked-up to the fastest speed your Internet Provider can supply.

But, not everyone is as fortunate.
Some people still have ... slow ... connections.
    They live here too.
    Thanks.

I'm just a noob, but if people conform to the size restrictions at 72 dpi, there shouldn't be a problem....I like to see the pics and I HATE trying to search through the photo galleries....NOT user friendly!

    My 2 cents,

    Dean

I'm not going to disagree with Rick, because I think we should be as accommodating as possible, but I'll admit I like to see the pictures without having to go through the galleries. The problem is that the galleries aren't user friendly! Perhaps you can link to the pictures in your gallery instead, so that people don't have to search? I haven't tried it.

well dropped the bike off at my buddy's shop to day he is making me some 3" risers for the xj and taking the rear shocks with him to his brothers HD shop to remove the springs and chop'em for me...so no more bar and tank love making  then cause i can't find a stock head pipe he is going to mod my supertrap to 4 to 2 with some harley mufflers this winter....i kicked around in his shop finding parts for my build found a fatbob fender and a nice almost new seat that i can refit and cut the seat pan to mate with my tank, going to cut and reweld the frame where the seat is over the battery drop it below the side panel for a lower seat height and give it more of the laid back look let it flow with the tank lines...also is going to take a look at making me some forward foot controls 8)
