Alright now I've done it. I dismantled the halves to clean the switches (horn button, turn signal, lo-hi beam) due to rusty contacts, spider webs, etc... from my bike sitting for 12 +/- years. And yes, you guessed it I don't remember where all the pieces went. Does anyone know a site or perhaps has a picture that has an exploded view of the pieces and the order in which they assemble. Even a picture of an assembled switch from the top that I can look at. This is for a '82 Yamaha Maxim XJ650J with a choke slide mounted underneath the switch assembly.
    Thanks

Excellent! That picture looks just like mine (did). It even has the pink wire going to the horn button.
Question: There is a single black wire with a brass connection at the end that a screw goes through into a screw hole inside the assembly. Ummm.... do you know what "screw hole" it goes in? Front/back, left/right corners of assembly.
This XJ cd you speak of.... where's that sucker at?

    Thanks
