    YEA I FINISHED!!!1111111twelve

So I finished putting my carbs back in, 99% of the way. Parts arrived a couple days ago (thanks Chacal!!) Did all the cleaning, all the adjusting, bought a colourtune, checked then sealed the valves' cover, put it together properly, borrowing a friend's 4-way manometer today....

Where does the XJ tool go?

on my 750 seca, theres a bolt to remove on the cylinder head, near the intake boots from the carbs. Pull the bolt, insert YICS tool, sync, remove tool, replace bolt, ride happy =)

Actually, ... before inserting the YICS Tool ... it's a good idea to take BOTH Hex Plugs out of the YICS Passage and Clean-out the Bore.

Some people use a Rifle Bore Cleaning Kit and run the Brass Brush through the Bore.
    That works.

I cut-up "Patches" of terrycloth from old, white, athletic socks.
    Soak them with Carb Cleaner
Ram then through the Bore with a fiberglass rod or wooden dowel.

The get soaked and pushed-in on the Left side and shoved-through the Bore until they fall-out of the other side.
Keep sending in a clean one until it comes-out the other end as clean as it was going in!

And these bolts are just below the part where the cylinder cooling fins begin to expand, one on each side, probably like 12mm bolts or something?

    They are 12mm Hex "Plugs".
    Copper washered.
On a line even with the Head Intake Ports.

Removing both is necessary for Cleaning.
Just loosening the opposite Plug will help get the tool in the Passage a lot easier.

    Yes kordasn, I believe that's correct. It's definitely a 12mm bolt.
