    does anyone know if the exhaust off a 82 650 maxim will fit on an 85 xj700 maxim? they look the same but i know looks can be deceiving. any help will be greatly appreciated.

    I'd say go to motogrid.com and check the P/N's from the parts references for the two bikes. If they're the same they will probably be listed with the same part numbers.
