i just bought new work for work. the soles are rubber and i noticed that it's marking up my pipes when i ride. since noticing it, i'm trying to be more careful, but is there any way of cleaning it off? when i noticed it, the pipes were cooled off and the rubber was hardened onto the pipes. It makes the pipes look really crummy. Thanks!

run the bike for a while and get the pipes good and hot and then it should just wipe off with a shop rag.

Cool. So you can "brand" their logo into your boots... Remember the "muffler cages" that came on old bikes with high pipes, like the Triumph Trophy, Norton "S" or Honda Scramblers? The kind that would burn a neat PATTERN into your leg?
