Hmmmm..... I guess these are hard to find after all.
Been monitoring ebay, not quite sure if I can afford the final prices or not.

    I'll keep watching........ 8O

I never did find one for mine when I was looking except for one on Ebay. But after seeing how high the bids were going, I decided they must be made out of GOLD now. I finally bobbed mine out and made my own covers. ...and I won't be losing mine like the stock ones. I screwed mine to the frame rails.

I was thinking of cutting out my own right cover too. What's with the right side covers? I'm seeing 10 left side covers to one right side cover. Every other bike on the market has side covers more in the $10 range.

The reason these particular covers are rare and high priced is because they are removed frequently to service the battery. That eventually wears out the rubber holders that the cover snaps into and we lose the cover while riding (like I did)
I've made covers out of 1/4" plexiglas and painted them to look just like the original ones. You will need to use an oven to heat them to get the right shape. I used my other side cover to duplicate the original shape.
Since I chopped/bobbed my bike, I needed a different shape for the side covers, so I just went with aluminum this time.
