    Hi all,
I recently traded my first bike, for an 83 xj 900 seca. The Seca is missing it's original fuel tank, looking online it is a rather unique tank, and this particular model was only sent to the U.S.A. for that year.

Are there any other years or models that used this tank?

The bike runs fairly well, needs some general cleaning and little stuff corrected.........and a paint job. But I really need a correct tank, or one that at least looks good, it currently has a giant peanut tank on it, totally ruins the look.

I do have a lead on a tank, but if that falls through, I am looking for other options

    Hi again
I did not realize there were responses to my 1st post, I have corrected that in the settings so now I will know.

I will get pics up hopefully this weekend, although it's not much to look at........Yet. an d I have already started dismantling, to start fixing stuff.

I think I have managed to find a tank, just waiting for shipping info.

A fat bob tank would still be the wrong look, I am trying to take it physically to what it would have looked originally, color will be a different story.....my last bike (81 KZ305), glowed in the dark, literally.

Anyways thank's for the welcome, I am sure I will be full of question's when I get further into this thing.
