Nice Bike. I agree that it will never go for $7000

I'm REAL interested to see what it does go for, will raise or lower the bar for all Seca 650s, price-wise...

I bought mine off ebay 16 months ago. It had 5000 miles and I won it for $1375. It's got some flaws. Final day of bidding was on 4th of July. Perhaps bidders were taking the day off.
I wish mine looked this good.
I wonder about the tank. I've never seen one that wasn't rusty. Mine looks nasty inside but is clean.
I assemble many secas from crates. They all had rusty tanks.

It didn't sell. Reserve wasn't met. It'll come back up again, you watch, and with a lower "buy it now." Personally, I make it to be worth (realistically) around $4700-$5000.

It's the wrong time of year and the economy is sour (which is probably why he needs to sell it...)

No. Only 24. Apparently the thing sat in the crate for 20 years before the seller (a Yamaha tech) unearthed it. He never rode it, just went thru it and made sure everything still works. Numerous pics, the listing is still up, check the link in my initial post. I too am somewhat surprised it didn't go above $3000 since that's what those cost new here.

Thats a really nice looking bike. I'd bet it doesn't start when it's cold. (hehe)
