WTB: PICKUP COILS and TCI ignition 81 XJ 650

    I need at least 1 pickup coil and possibly the TCI ignition. it looks like other years and sizes will work box number is TID 14-02

    My bike was running when I drove it home a couple of weeks ago so the ignition system is in running condition.

    How difficult are the pickups to remove?

    2bolts and a pigtail a piece. OH, but you have to get the tank off, easy enough.

    I will look it up in the service manual to figure what to remove.
    The tank is already off since I wanted the carbs.

    It will be Saturday before I can get to it.
    I can ship Monday next week.

    It will be the ignition box and both coil assemblies.

    What is the usual used price if these items combined?

    I was able to get a TCI box and pickup coils on ebay. 17.00 for the tci and 19.99 for the pickup coils. I am hoping that is all I need. The prices don't include shipping though. Thanks for letting me know,if these don't work out I will get back with you.
