I have a blinker question. Does anyone know a website where you can order a unit where all you need to do is supply 12V of juice to the unit and attach blinkers and they will blink... like they have a handlebar switch... all the wiring... and maybe blinkers... but i would like to chose my own blinkers.
You see, i'm going to buy a fourwheeler, and i want to make it street legal, and i want blinkers, even though you dont need them in Michigan, but i need blinkers, a Speedometer, a horn, but ill use the stock one off my husqvarna... and i think thats it, so if you guys could point me towards any of these I'd appreciate it, thanks.

Bosch makes a electronic flasher that would work. You'll have to make your own wire harness for your blinkers though

They won't let us lisence them here.
Though down the rode there's a shop that sells dune buggys for $8000 that are street legal.

i want to get a honda atc250 (trike) and get a metal tank, blinkers, dot tires and all that mess and try to register it here in CT. i think it can be done because it would have a semifloating axle in the back, and it also is a trike wich is allowed.

I saw a four wheel Gold Wing at Bike Week- - Daytona.

    http://thekneeslider.com/archives/2007/ ... torsports/

Handlebar steering and full trike kit in back ( not training wheels, those look stupid!) Front fenders color keyed to the bike. Sweet !

They even said that 5 states are tagging 4 wheelers !

    A) They're very much fun, but only if you like railing corners and taking off like a bat out of hell. An affection for snowmobiling helps you feel at home.

    B) Using "gay" to mean anything other than "homosexual" is gay.

ok well we're a little off topic here... and i ride snowmobiles, but i think it would be very tipsy and i think it looks weird, but ok, sheesh sorry, this is merely a thread asking if there is a website with a easy attachable blinker system...

the transmission life is 1/10 th that of a car.... which means that if you drive it on the streets for a year, its worn out. Might want to Reconsider that as a "street machine investment".... you might also want to think about why you DONT see anyone else doing that...

lol, i do have abad experience with quads on the road, before i was 16 i had a quadsport 230 that i would drive to the farm, friends house, etc... well the oil pumps on them are horrible, and yp, tit was shot, and when i tore apart the motor this summer to part out there was copper dust and chunks of bushings everywhere, not pretty. But i figured if i geared it higher, changed the oil ALOT, and only used this for "beer runs" AKA short trips, cuz the fartest i would ever go would be about 15 miles one way.... im just considering it.... because alot of pieces have to fall in place for me to get a quad...again.... and again.. my dad hates me

well a quick google search said GA, AZ, WY, SD, ND and Utah all permit quads on the street with proper tags.
    In Az you need:
    Horn
    Muffler
    Brakes front & back
    Fuel Cap
    License Plate Light
    Tail light Head light
    Stop Light Rear view Mirror.
    And you're good to go.
    How sweet is that.
