Email links fail to open to the Thread.
    Blank page appears instead.

Long delay in connecting to site from Link in Bookmark Toolbar.
    Failure to connect.
    3 - 5 Minute wait.
Sometimes I just get a Blank Screen.

Blank Screen after Posting Comment and hitting Submit.
Error Message directing me to refresh page causes double-postings.

    What you said.
Also, sometimes, both before the server move and after, when someone posts a new thread or reply, sometimes the thread wont highlight or turn the folder red, not sure if anyone else has these problems

After responding to a Thread and clicking on "Submit" ... I lose the Site.

The new page goes Blank, the Icon for XJ-Bikes blinks continually, the Page stays Blank and I have to re-connect to the Site by clicking on the Link in my Bookmarks Toolbar.

The Page doesn't come back with the submission just made.
Just a Blank white screen appears with "Done" indicated in the Lower Left corner of my screen.

Same here; when it tries to come back I get "page cannot be displayed." Dump browser, relaunch site and get it back. On occasion, my post is there, sometimes not.

Slow and unresponsive at times. Several database errors.
Also the member map doesn't load all the way and just looks like a blank page but has the zoom and pan toolbar.

Been having these issues since the server migration. Excessive load times, if the site even decides to load at all. When I can browse the site, if I make reply or post, it ALWAYS times out trying to post it.

Edit: my post about bugs went through without any bugs! haha.

problems connecting with the server, more frequent over the past week.

I run a 1.5mbps net connection all to myself, and pages come up slow still.

Some of you may remember a few times I've mentioned issues with posts showing read even when I haven't read them, after switching computers. I think I may have found a cause. I'm just guessing here about the operation of the forum software, but here goes:

The forum software tracks the dates and times you visit. The 'new posts since last visit' function seems to be tied to that feature. It seems that date/time 'times' out after you haven't reloaded a page for a specific amount of time.

So what seems to happen is:
I visit the forums at work right before I leave for the day. I see 15 or 20 new posts, but only have time to read a few. So I read what I can and then hit the door to go...wherever (other job, home, etc). By the time have made it to the destination and ended up back on a computer with time to kill that session has timed out.

When I reload the forums my NEW last visit time is right before I left work. Now the forum software finds new posts since that time, and I 'lose' the notifications about all those other posts.

This also happens if I open the forums and step away from the computer for an hour or so. When I get back I see all those red folders, click them. My session has timed out so the forum software tells me "No new posts".

    GRRR....

I'm on a T3 line so I know it is not on my end.
I've taken to coping my posts before hitting submit because I get unable to connecct to database errors.
There's a button that says back but the page never loads or it will load just the XJ banner.
If I use the browser back button same thing.
At any rate I would have lost my post if I hadn't copied it.
Even if it posts properly it takes a long time.
    Frustration is a minor word.
*Where's my spanner, I'll fix it*

On the second page of this thread the message goes beyond the right side of the message area and there is no scroll bar to move the message:

What not to do to any bike

Thanks for keeping this site going!

Wow, linked back to this thread. I wanted to post a link to the thread titled "What Not to Do to Any Bike."

Guess I don't know how to capture a link.

    Sorry.

I'm having a problem with the server editing legitimate names for parts like the part on the left side of my gas tank that regulates the flow of gas to my carburetors...(petedited) Politically correct censorship
