    While I was getting ready to remove my engine from my bike, I noticed some smutz on the alternator cover.

    So while trying to pick it off, I found out it was old silicon covering up an OOPS like the bike had been laid on its side and poke part way through the cover....

    Does anyone have a spare cover they would be willing to get rid of for a 1980 XJ650 (NON YICS)????

    It will be about a month before I can afford to get it, but will be more than happy to take it off your hands if I have the do re mi.

    If they are the same for the 550 as for the 650 I have one you can HAVE but it's a YICS cover and the YICS has seen better days. Part number might not match but measure between holes and diameter and let me know.
