G,day all .well yhe good news first i collected my xj900n yesterday, after a full day of stuffing around,i finnally got to pass rego(blue slip}& all the other bulls#*^@ one has to do.
So i have not had much time to go over the bike with a fine tooth comb, one of the first things that i noticed that the oil filler plug appears to have grown together with the housing :( ,i have only tried it when the motor has been hot,got to try when mtor is cold.
any ideas of how to get undone without breaking it!!!!

    thanks in advance albear.

ps YES I DID HAVE A BIG SMILE ON MY FACE RIDING A 900 FOR THE FIRST TIME ONLY GOT RPM UPTO 4500, AS PREVIOUS OWNER SAID WAIT TO YOU GET USED TO IT BEFORE YOU STERTCH IT LEGS OUT,HE SAID IT IS A VERY AGRESSIVE CHANGE IN THE BIKES NATURE. 8) :D 8O  :)

You might try tapping the top of the plug with a hammer...may loosen it. Not hard....but firmly.

Fold a thick piece of cardboard over the cap and turn it with an adjustable wrench.
