New to the board today! Hi everyone!

I am looking for the right side gas tank emblem/Badge for a 1982 Xj650j.

May need some more little fluff parts from the same bike if you have them.

bigfitz52 is giving away one, that is REALLY close to a 650, its not the exact same, but it will work and wont be noticable, the catch is u gotta find the correct bike it goes on, i think it goes on a golf cart, but get a hold of him and beg him for it, and im sure he will give it to you, just provide the shipping costs

Those badges are still available from Yamaha for around $30 and I believe our own chacal has them even cheaper. See his new "catalog" post called "XJ4ever Supporting Vendor." Chacal has just about every part you can think of for XJ's, both OEM when available and CORRECT aftermarket, and at very reasonable prices especially compared to mama Yama.

Schooter I don't think it's for a golf cart it has a curve for a tank. I'm gonna post a new pic with a height ruler too when I get a sec. It's self adhesive and I believe usdart needs the screw on type.

Plus, they will work JUST FINE on the 550s both Seca and Max. I have a set (from chacal) on my '81, the slight difference in curvature pulls right down as long as you tighten the screws evenly and gradually. After a couple of 90-degree summer days, they now FIT the tank exactly.
