    well today it took 5-6 hours cleaning out the carbs, and done the clunk test. pulling a screw or two off the other carb set i might add. nothing internal was messed up accept two little holes on 2 diagrams so how do i fix that hmm Robert told me to use plastic dip but i cant seem to find it any ware and i cant put the carbs back on till i do so i so i can fire this baby up hopefully and i cant put the carbs back on in the first place ether eeeek

    You can use "liquid electrical tape" too should be able to get that at an industrial supply like Graingers.

    awesome i picked some up on order at NAPA and it will be there tomorrow so now how do i apply it any ideas thick thin all over hmm and for the carbs go i need a wrenching buddy any one close

    Very thin coat, on both sides of the hole.

    does it matter what type it is as far as color or grit on it hmm its a 14 oz can ill only need to use it once does the stuff last for a long time or do i have to replace it every couple months or weeks on the diaphragms

    Does plasti dip work I did try it once but seem to wash of with petrol
    i repaired two Diaphragm on my Xs650 by cutting a small circle out of a old one & super glueing it over the hole
