    Looking for a el-cheapo XJ550 Ignitor Unit. I'm 19 and on my own so I cant afford lots of $$$ (as listed on ebay) anyone looking to let go of a spare one please let me know vis PM.. I'd be GRATEFUL. thankyou.

    Try a few different keywords on ebay "xj550" "yamaha maxim" i've found different keywords will bring up an entire different list for these bikes cuz no one uses the full name to list parts. I've seen a couple floating around on there. The problem is hoping that no one else finds it too! how cheap were you looking for?

    oh ya, i had a few and sold a couple of them. Anything is better than the 5-600 quote from the dealer. The ones i bought never cost me more than 50 bucks on ebay.
