Try reversing the polarity of the wires on those Harley signals, that may help them work.
Another thing, are they double filiment signals? Those need two separate curcuits to make them work. I assume it's just a wiring problem.

You need to re-use your 27 Watt bulbs from your Yamaha lights.

Your flasher relay knows you put Harley parts on your bike !

Your rears need 27 W also, total 54 Watt each side.

Or better yet, just go to an auto parts store and get an electronic flasher. It works for me. I got after market signals on mine (front and back) and all I had to do is replace the stock mechanical flasher with an electronic one. They're fairly cheap too.

Jonny the flasher needs the current draw to work so like painter says you can get an electronic flasher - you will lose your auto cancel though.

They are single filament bulbs, And rather small...(Harley sportster fronts) So I doubt the bulb will fit. I guess I get an electronic flasher. Thanks!
can I find that at Canadian tire? OR napa ? Anyone have a specific model?

I couldn't tell the exact part number of my electronic flasher, but as long as it plugs into your socket, it should work. I have the same flasher on both of my bikes (Honda and Yamaha) If I remember right, they are just 2-prong flashers.

The double-filament bulbs aren't any bigger than the single-filament bulbs.

To tell the difference, take the bulb out and look at the bottom. If it has just one nub on the bottom, it's a single-filament bulb (like most incandescent lights). If it has two terminals on the bottom, it's a double-filament bulb.

You can get double-filament bulbs that need the same current draw as single filament bulbs (when fully active), but because there are two terminals instead of one, they require a different socket and wiring.

I have doubles (1157) in front and singles (1156) in back on my 650.

well I went out and bought an electronic Relay. It has two terminals. NOw under my Coils is the original relay. It seems to have 4 wires and ie 4 terminals. Which goes where? In addition the front flashers do illuminate now (they don't flash) .

Keep in mind, the terminals on the relay don't have anything to do with the number of terminals on the blinkers themselves.

Remove the flasher relay (old one) and post a picture of the terminals. There should only be three. (Power in, power out, and the cancellation signal from the self-cancellation unit.)
