Just curious as to how many miles are on your XJ?

How many miles did you do last year?

What's the furthest you took it?

Mileage in my sig, the '81 is my running XJ. No trips on IT yet (lots on the Norton, many over 2000 miles) but I ride it to work 2-3 times a week (in season) which is a 126-mile round trip. The '83 isn't going on the road until this spring, when it will take over "daily rider" duties.

    28,525 miles,

    2,000 miles

    60 miles round trip

This year will be different because I have new tires and new fork oil seals and dust seals. I still have to do the valve adjustments when it warms up. and I can take a trip every other weekend. I usually take the friday off with a vacation day but planning to take thursday and friday this year giving me 7/4 day weekends starting june 11th ending september 4th.

not sure where I will take my 1st one

    My '84 XJ900 has 129,000km on the clock (That's about 80,000 miles)
I've done about 50,000 of those kilometres.
During that time, except for repairing some minor electrical problems, regular maintenance and replacing worn parts, I've done nothing to it.

i've got 38,919 on it now. I put about 4,000 on this last year and no trips but i have put 100 miles or so on at one time just from running around. It was my only ride in the summer as my F150 was getting 12 mpg to the bikes 55-60. She held up pretty goo for little maintenance for 4,000 miles.

I bought my bike from my brother, who bought it new in 1982. This bike has only 11,300 original miles. Put about 400 miles on it last year,as I have other bikes to ride.

I got my Maxim X 750 last may. I believe it was May 5th or so.

At that time it read 44k.

Right now it reads a tad over 58k.

This is my first ever bike and man am i ever in love with that bike!

EDIT: those are in Km's.... so i guess 14K's are roughly 9K miles.

Longest trip i was trying to do an Iron Butt qualifier. 1000 miles in 24 hours.

I actually did the trip in time, but i couldnt validate the full route because of some detours i had to make.

My Maxim 550 has a touch over 10K mi. Sweet little ride, it is.

I'm thinking vanity tags next year. since I got it from my Dad right before he passed away, I'm thinking 2 things. "LEGACY" OR "TKS DAD"

39500. I put on the last 5000 or so since I bought it a little over a year ago and that includes much down time as I fixed this and that (piddled).

Hope to put 7 or 8 on it this year.
