. . .And the trophy for the lowest seat goes to. . .

Hey, isn't there a "minimum seat height" law in Canada?

    Re: Seca Facelift

I like it. The lower the seat, the better. I always wanted to lower the frame where the seat is, but never wanted to go with a solid (no suspension) rear end, so I decided to raise the bars and shorten the shocks instead. which made alot better ride.
Hey, it's supposed to get up to 41 today, I might have to fire that scoot up and ride!! YEE haw.

    Re: Seca Facelift

A sporster tank wouldn't get you very far (not much gas) The Maxim atnk looks better anyways. It gives the bike some class. Those little peanut tanks are worthless.

    Re: Seca Facelift

Considering how wide and deep the tunnel is to clear the triple backbone, that tank doesn't have any more capacity than a peanut.

    Re: Seca Facelift

I guess with a hardtail design, a peanut tank would be enough to give you a sore a$$ and it would be time to take a break and fill'r up anyways.

That's nice. That bikes got more curves than a Saturday night at Hef's house. It would be a shame to cover that back bone with a gas tank. Have you considered a split tank mounted on side of or just below the backbone to show off that arch? Maybe even make your own. Looks like ya got some pretty good metal working abilities.
