There is a sticky in this forum that gives instructions. I still have not ordered mine but need to. The process is a bit disconcerting - you send your money to the guy and in a few weeks you get the CD but you will get no communications from what I have read. However they have always come through.

    Hm. Ok, thanks.

Would you say that it's a "must have" resource? I do have an owner's manuals, Haynes Manual, and access to the Yamaha website database with the exploded diagrams.

I know it has a ton of information on it for $10 not a bad deal. But I have survived with my Haynes, service manual and this site.

I still intend to get one though.

I haven't bought a set yet, but I might still. I have a Clymer manual, owners manuals for both bikes, and a factory service manual; plus of course the Yamaha on-line parts fiche, and this site. I'm not sure what I could be missing... but it might be worth $10 to find out.

It's more than worth the $10 but you can certainly survive without it if you have one or more of the manuals, especially with this web site available. But I have found items on the CDs that I haven't seen here. Of course, the reverse is also true.

I just got mine. It took just over a week from the day I set payment to the day I received it here in MN.

Lots of good info on the CD's. Especially if you have more than one different model/year of XJ. The second disc is full of service and/or owners manuals for virtually all of the XJ's. And the parts cross-reference program on the third disc is really cool. Click on a PN and it will tell you which models and years the part fits.

A ton of info on the bikes we love, put together by people who have been there, did that. Well worth the $10, IMHO.

Hmmmm... looks like Dwayne forgot to announce it on the forums...

He's created a dedicated website for all things XJCD:

I just got mine also, in super fast time (came in mail 7 days after I mailed the check). I haven't checked everything out yet, but the cross reference guide ALONE is worth way more than 10.00!!!
