I want all of my cables red. RED Steel-braided cable covers would be ideal but I can't find them anywhere online. Alternately, does anyone know another way to get red cables that will last? Paint seems to flake off anything rubber.

Why not try latex paint that flexes?

WesleyJN1975 is correct, latex does flex, but the main thing is use a primer first. I'd use BIN or KILZ, . Dries in 5 mins. I paint for a living, for the last 25 years.
