Finally got my XJ700 fixed to the point where I'm comfortable taking pictures and showing them to all the great minds of this forum.

I'd like to keep it as stock as possible but are there any suggestions from the house?

Bike looks great!, I love the stock look on these bikes too but i wouldn't mind changing over to that duel front disc setup, I wouldn't change a thing on yours what's left on your to do list?

The only things that are on my to-do list is upgrade to Progressive 412 rear shocks, install EBC Pro-lite replacement brake rotors, and get some stainless steel brake lines.

It looks like you've done a fine job with it. My only suggestion would be:

    Ride it lots!

I got a pair of glass packed shorties off eBay. They sound really good. At idle they have a low bassy sound that's not very loud but when you open the throttle it screams like a jet turbine.

Sweet. I thought you just didn't have them on yet. Sorry about the confusion.

A fine job Rubiks. You must really be glad to have fixed that fading #4 cylinder. It has a nice, metric-cuiser look to it. I wouldn't change a thing.

You have no idea how happy I was when that finally got fixed. I burned through 2 tanks of gas and 500+ miles that day. :D

Bike looks great! You even have the much desired sportrack on there... Well done!

One thing I'd be looking at is the mirrors. Those square ones don't really suit the look of the bike as well as the stock oval-shaped ones. Well, to me they don't. Stock-looking ones are pretty easy to find as Virago and V-Max used the same (or very similar) ones.

I've actually been thinking about replacing those. The PO dropped it pretty hard at one point and when I got it the left side blinkers were destroyed and you can see the scratch damage on the left mirror still. Not the highest on the list but needs to be done.

I can't decide though if I want chrome or black mirrors. Or some bar end mirrors.
