I've come to the conclussion that I have odd sized hands. The width of my palm is quite wide but my fingers are short and fat. For example, I use large gloves, and it fits perfect, but my fingers are too short. If I use medium ghloves the fingers are just right in most cases, but they're way too tight on my palms.

My main concern is the following:

I have a hard time reaching the brake and clutch levers on my bike. Are there any adjustable or closer to the handlebar levers out there that I can install on my 750 SECA?

    SOMEONE PLEASE HELP! :(

take the levers off, put 'em in the vise, heat, slip a long pipe over the lever and bend 'em closer...cakewalk.

not too much though, you still need ample travel for the levers to work properly.

If I hadn't seen your bike already, I would have suspected that someone replaced the levers with non-stock types. I have an incorrect brake lever on right now. It works and mounts perfectly, even looks like it belongs there, but I can barely reach the danged thing.

I would try to adjust the cable before heating and bending it. The levers are cast aluminum and prone to snapping off.

Yeah, at first I was stoked to just being able to heat up and bend the levers, but they ARE cast. I was even thinking of going as far as getting some afetr market ones with short levers, but I would have to re route all the wiring, like ignition and all that. maybe I will try to heat them up and bend them just a bit. But after I mess with the cable some more first.

Turttleman: I got some new grips on the way, I think that will help some too.

Steve: Those are some small hands you have. How do you reach your levers?

xulf13, take a look at these. It's a Dutch site but this looks like it might be just what you're looking for. I can't tell if "adjustable" means the angle of the lever relative to the handlebar is adjustable or if it simply means that the brake engagement can be adjusted.

    Adjustable brake lever http://www.japparts.nl/index.php?main_p ... ts_id=5086

    Adjustable clutch lever: none listed.

Here's another place that is pricey but might be worth contacting to see if one of their products will fit your bike even though it isn't listed. http://www.asvinventions.com/levers_order/

Here is an excerpt to a mention of ASV products from another website at http://www.vtwinmama.com/clutch_levers_b.htm

"To date, the only company I have ever found that offers a clutch lever with an adjustable reach is ASV Inventions. According to the site, "ASV levers are designed to be a universal fit. Our universal clutch levers include a perch so they fit all makes, models and years of motorcycles and ATV's." This would be worth checking out for your bike."

    Best regards,
    Annie

Thanks for the links Annie. BUT... I don't understand dutch LOL and as far as the ASV products levers $125 for one lever or $225 for two is out of the question for me. I'm going to check around some more and maybe play with a torch and modify some things here and there. I'll start tomorrow if I get some time.
