Odometer?

    What do you guys have on your odometer?

    My '86 xj700 maxim has just a tad over 15,000

    My 1980 Maxim 650 I'm resurrecting has just over 20,000. I am curious how far these run without rebuilding.

    I'm up around 40,000 Kms with no major rebuilds - Just regular maintenance.

    This came up before. You may find some interesting info with a search. Mine just rolled 42k. They can go a long ways

    A guy at work has a Honda shadow with over 80k and has never been rebuilt - he is the original owner.

    I believe for my bike xs400j it is about 60,000 miles before rebuild.

    but then I guess that would change depending upon your driving habits. High rpms and such would most likely lower mine to about 45,000 before rebuild if I drove like a maniac lol

    over on some yamaha r1 boards they don't care because thier bikes are totaled before they reach 20,000 LOL

    my Speedo reads 55+K km on it. Just cleaned last week, good as new =)
