flat seat... and exhaust...cry for help :-)

first of all, it is great to have found this forum!

being the proud owner of an MAXIM X 750 85´ in Denmark(not many) i have a couple of questions: where can i buy a custum flat seat for my bike??

if it is not possible to buy one, maybe some of you have made one yourselfs and can help me with size, materials and so on.

Exhaust: i´m looking for a new exhaust for the maxim x, can someone help me find one or more different types of exhaust for my bike?
as you ofcourse know, it is not easy to find parts for this great bike(in Denmark nearly impossible) so any help would be really great! :wink:

Welcome, I guess you're talking about a cafe race type seat. There are good threads with build pix. Search the board.

I spent a good deal of time trying to track these down in the states. I sent out some e-mails to US distributors. None of them had sites worth visiting. I'll post some answers if I happen to get any.

 

I haven't looked for them in North America myself, but I have heard from others that they are impossible to find here.

Maybe we can get Carsten to ship some over for us... :wink:
