assuming you have good compression, no air leaks in the intake boots, also make sure your spark plugs arent wet. at that point you need to check your fuel pilot circut. pull the mix screws and start cleaning again.

once your done cleaning re-adjust your mix, if your having issues with delivery it could be too lean.

Sounds like the enrichment jets in the float bowls are not letting enough fuel through. You might have to take them back off and spray carb cleaner into the well from inside the float bowl (the little hole in the bottom). You should face it away from you and the carb cleaner should squirt out about ten feet if the jet is clear. Also Run a wire up the little brass tube that goes down into that well. Check the top of the tube where its against the carb body. There is a small bleed hole that sometimes gets plugged too. Good Luck and let us know.

Also make sure the fuel enrichment port in the float bowls are clear. Test by shooting carb cleaner in one hole and see if it comes out the other. If those holes are clogged it will not start cold.

Just when you think you have them clean you find out you missed something. Happens to all of us the first time. Make sure you put a fuel filter in so any junk in the tank will not get into the carbs.

Its varnish. Gasoline turns into varnish if left to sit for months.
Use "Stabil" stabilizer when you cannot run the bike every week.

That would be like saying that wine has vinegar in it. One dissociates into the other but does not contain it. There is a difference.

You prevent wine from becoming vinegar by not allowing it to get air into it.

You prevent gasoline from becoming varnish by using it up in a timely manner. There are threads on here about winterizing your bike.
