Starter Freewheeling

I like the Castroil GTX 20 W50 been good to me...

Also with 42k on my bike I an doing oil changes ever 1000 to 1500 miles. does not cost that much for the added insurance I get

 

Do you change filters every time? Seems like that part could get spendy.

Not always but I found the filters at Advance auto for about $4.5 with both gaskets. That is their regular price - at least here. My local store gets 2 in and I buy them, few weeks later they get more I buy those so I have 4 or 5 sitting ready. Plan is to do the filter every other change.

 

I'll hope that the situation isn't a serious one and is only cold weather related.

I start and run my bikes a few times over the coarse of the winter. If it has been extremely cold; I have to warm the garage some to get the Bikes to start.
A frozen cold engine doesn't want to turn-over and resists starting.

 

I changed over to the GTX 20/50. Seems to have fixed the problem. I also sprayed the starter button w/ contact cleaner. I might spray WD-40 in there too to protect against further crud.
