Is this a stock seat?

    I have been looking at stock seats for the 750 Maxim and I have not seen any that look like the seat on my Maxim. Most have ribbing or a sewn tufted pattern or something, but I have seen one completely smooth like mine..

    My Maxim is an 82. Is this maybe off a different year? What do you guys think? Is this stock or some kind of aftermarket replacement??

    My '81 650 seat looks EXACTLY like yours. I too have wondered if this is a factoy or aftermarket skin. I saw another xj 650 on the web when looking for paint colors that has the same seat.

    sooooo.....what yur sayin' is, this isn't a common seat for an xj....ya might even say it's RARE! hhmmmm.....
    that might come in handy if I decide to sell... :wink: :wink:

    well i have a 82 maxim 750 and my seat looks nothing like it. however that is exactly what i've been looking for.... :wink:
