My question is, "How the heck do I convince you to fabricate a rear fender like that for me?"

Well, if this does not sell at a reasonable price, I have considered using it to make a pure fiberglass replica...just hope it doesn't sell and we can work on it. I have had about 10 different people inquire about a bolt on rear section replica of my xj.

Hell, you could probably make a business just out of selling that nifty thing... I can accomplish a bit, especially if there's a manual involved... the bold fabrication like that is nothing I'd attempt to do. I bet you'd have a lot of people buy, especially given what I've seen people pay for the crappy looking side covers. (That's not to say I have a million dollars to spend, heh.)

Yeah, the reserve is pretty low, but like I mentioned. If it does not sell this run, I will make a mold and put it back up for auction. It would be kinda cool to give people the chance to do radical custom on their Maxim w/o the radical cost.

Just have to say I really like what you done to your bike! I seen your older pics and thought you did a good job then. And now again you changed the look and again WOW! Looking at what you did to that bike makes me wish I had the money to 1: buy yours,2: build one similar. Good luck on your auction and if you ever come up with any mods for the 650 let me know!
