    Hey everybody--

Anyone from Michigan interested in doing a carb clinic? If there is an expert out there (or at least someone interested...), it would be great to work together. I would like to do as much work on my bike before it gets warm enough to ride again (yes, I'm wussing out right now, while it's 10 degrees outside). I have done a reasonable amount of carb stuff before, but I'm certainly not an expert. So, let me know if you would like to do this, anyone at all. Even better if you have a garage and are near Ann Arbor/Detroit.

    Sean

    pygmy,

Oh yeah. We got a few. LtDave in Port Huron, dcopple in Bay City, Wardog12 and myself in Livonia. Couple guys in Toledo.

I've got a couple sets of carbs to do myself. Will probably host a clinic in March.

Oh, and we usually consider ourselves Eastern US.

Any XJers in Southwest Michigan. Just bought an 81 XJ550 to get back and forth to work on but this website is quite the inspiration for me to do more with it than just commute. Other than a high idle when it warms up it runs great...all for $400.

Middle of the Mitten, in the middle of nowhere, about 20 miles from somewhere, but I've got one of the best little twisty roads in Michigan in my back yard. Well, okay, maybe twisty isn't the word, swaying may be more appropriate.

Saginaw Mi. All American City 1968, Murder capital 1970 wuh happened? When I was a kid Saginaw used to be a pretty nice town. Now it's a poop hole. Saginaw in the olden days was one of the most progressive, modern cities anywhere on the globe. When General Motors came to town it was all down hill from there.
